Going to be that good this year? They seem really hyped for a team with no qb returning and loosing their shut down corner. I understand they have talent but they definitely have a lot of unproven talent.
I think deshaun lights them up in Tallahassee this year

A lot of talent on both lines. New QB is legit, Cook...
DW & Co. will be great, but this game could turn into a shootout for sure.
Ive said before, IF we get back to the NCG, it wouldnt surprise me if FSU is the best team we see all year.

I think Clemson and FSU could well be the two best teams in the country this year.
Baylor will score 75 on the ten Southwest Mizzouri States on their schedule, but it remains to be seen if they have anything resembling a defense.
Alabama lost a ton and has QB issues. For whatever reason, they just cannot find a QB there in Tuscaloosa.
Nobody in the Pac-12 looks dominant, at all.
Ohio State just lost the most loaded draft class in NFL history. They did the metrics and it was indeed better than the 2004 Miami Hurricane draft class. You don't lose that level of talent and get better.
Who else is in contention?
FSU has more recruited talent on its roster than any team except Alabama...and their skill talent and QB talent is way better. Deandre Francois is absolutely legit, IMHO, and he'll almost certainly be starting by the time Clemson faces FSU.

There are a legit top 5 team.
They might be the best team Clemson plays all year, and that includes the postseason games against Alabama, etc.... They are going to be really, really good. If Clemson beats them at their place it may mean Clemson is the best team in the country.

They return 17-18 starters including all 11 on offense.

Yes it's true that their QBs returning from last season are not good, but they have a couple freshman that are incredibly talented. Francois is a RS FR and was the #1 rated dual threat QB by Rivals in 2015. They also have true FR Malik Henry coming in that was the #2 rated dual threat QB in the 2016 class.
Keep in mind what guys like Manziel, Winston, and Watson have done as FR in recent years. I don't know if either of these guys will be THAT good (probably not), but i think it's pretty likely that FSU will actually be better at the QB position this year than they were last year when they struggled with Golson and Macguire.

Manziel and Winston were both RS FR,giving them a full year to learn the system. Watson was an early entrant that had already been running the same offense(terminology) in high school.
