They will start acting like some of the "lazy" professionals who want to enjoy the money instead of being focused on getting better! I have no doubt that what he is saying is 100% going to be a buzz kill of the pro-NIL folks. Not that I am necessarily anti-NIL. I just think you have to put some type of regulation on it - since they are 1st and foremost in these schools to get an education. Or supposed to be anyway. Many people (not me; because best on best is more interesting than watching a team with a disadvantage hopefully beat a superior talented team). But, college football especially, is supposed to be more exciting than the pros for this very reason. People say: "they don't play for the love of the game"! "They just want the money"! Etc. etc. etc. Well, buddy; watch out! Because at least in the pros they have or "use to have" 3 years of maturing 1st. Plus, the NFL and NBA provide all sorts of resources on what to do with your money and what traps not to fall into. Some don't listen, but still, the resource is available to them. What will you have in CFB?
Not much evidence yet to draw any conclusions about behavior...

His declaration may prove to be accurate but at the moment, it's an assumption at best and more likely just a rhetorical sound byte borrowed from the original author, whoever that may be.
