Looking ahead a little bit. Likely, after this season, we will lose DT's Ruke, Breese, and Tyler Davis. When I read articles about D-Line I hear alot about Tre williams, a bit about Page, and almost nothing about Capehart. I know we have Caden Story coming in the fall.

What's your thoughts on Capehart and Page?

It seems we will have to get a instant impact freshman DT for 2023 and then at least one more to feed depth.

Ruke leaving isn't a given

You also have Ruben at DT who made big strides last year. Page and Capehart are kind of buried on the depth chart, so it's going to be hard to gauge their impact until they actually get substantial PT

Yep - I would be surprised if Ruke leaves after this year

Technically all 3 of those guys could stay. Bresee technically has 4 more years but I’m pretty sure without injuries or stock dropping out of top 10, expect him to be gone. Davis might as well get started on pro career as well as long as he doesn’t have any setbacks. I think defense end has more short term concerns than DT. I like all the younger DTs mentioned. The DEs are a bit more of a unknown.
