But not consistently enough to beat a lesser team like FSU. Tonight was a bad loss. When you lose to UVa, learn your lesson and then beat Syracuse, and then fail to show up against FSU, then we are doomed to a lost season. Somebody please tell me I'm wrong.
Go Tigers!

Yep and cant combine lack of consistency with poor FT shooting. Was a recipe for a L.

Rod Hall at point guard, college basketball is dominated by guard play. Brownell has to get good PG. We haven't had a legit one since Stitt

Exactly and that si why I made the post asking about the future of the position next year.
I look at Grantham Blossomgame and NNoko/Djitte returning. That is a pretty solid core but without quality play at PG it wont work.
Edit to add to this apparently we have a good transfer coming in and a 4 star recruit.

Exactly, in basketball the PG is as important to the team as a good QB in football.
Hall is good when he is shooting good and tries to drive more, he just has those streaks when he gets a little too timid with the ball.

True, and although Rod Hall has developed into a decent PG, he still lacks speed off the dribble and and a consistent jumper. I thought Roper or Harrison would be answers, but they have underperformed as well, and we have no reliable backups at PG or SG. The main thing BB has been missing is an elite big man. While Rod Hall is very capable, it does us no good to have players like Grantham and Blossomgame, when we have no complimentary PG or C. BB, STOP GETTING BIG AFRICANS WHO CANT PLAY BASKETBALL. Give us a C who can play with his back to the rim, and a PG who can get to the rim and consistently make jumpers. Though it's painful to watch our guys struggle, and BB not to be able to put it all together, I still support my Tigers 110%. I like BB, and want to see him succeed. That is all! Go Tigers!

Exactly. Lack of consistency is the most

maddening thing about this team. The schedule gets somewhat easier but if the Tigers cannot learn from big wins, it won't matter who they play.
