I'll play.
I would say Georgia would have gotten the better end of that specific deal. We went on to beat Georgia with Hershel and win the NC the next year. We only won one with Trevor, but Georgia didn't sniff it until after Trevor was gone.
As far as historically, way to many variable to even consider.

Clemson has a Heisman winner but still only one natty from the 80s because of probation.
UGA loses the natty from the 80s but gains at least one more with TL. TL wins the Heisman if he’s at UGA.
Clemson should’ve won two natty’s with TL but only got one. Without him the Tigers don’t get any.
So Clemson loses out on a natty but gains a Heisman. Heisman < Natty
UGA is net neutral or positive in this exchange = better trade for UGA.

We would have won the '80, '81, and '82 titles. Lawrence would have been arrested on Gun possession charges, and UGA would still be looking for its first national title.
