Clemson's defense is better than Northwesterns and our offense is much better as well. Don't be surprised when we are crossing the goal line for the 6th or 7th time on Saturday...

lol...you think you're NC State or UGA? Their actually giving you more points than any team other than GA scored on Clemson to this point...so could go both ways.

Good grief - 40 points? We put 38 on freaking UGA - arguably the best team in the SEC - and we only expect 40 points against unranked SU? For me - I expect we hang 50 on SU unless Dabo calls off the attack early.
We score 50+ - or win by 21 - whichever Dabo is satisfied with.

...and it's no secret that mobile QBs have been a problem for us in the past.
...and it's on the road in a new environment for us.
So, I'm willing to believe y'all may put 24 points on us.
However, I have seen nothing in your defense that makes me thing you'll hold us to NC State-type numbers. I believe the predictions are reasonable, with Clemson covering.

Since the beginning of last season we've hung 38+ points on 13 of 17 opponents. (And we still won 3 of the 4 games where we didn't score over 30).
Yeah, 40 points at least Saturday afternoon.

So you're betting that our team didn't learn a thing from NC State and that Giff will be back in playing with a concusion again and letting 2 guys by him, right? Cause that's what started the offensive sputter in the NC State game...hard to expect Tajh to be thinking straight and be on point after getting creamed twice in a row from the same side...took him a while to shake that pressure off his mind.

I think the coaches are concerned and have been for some time, with Giff's lack of athleticism and his struggles against athletic ends.
You know Syracuse is going to attack our right side like NC State did. If they have success early against Giff and/or Shaq, we may likely see Battle at left tackle and Thomas at right tackle before the half.

Sorry, but I am not convinced that Giff is, or ever has been, a D-1 caliber player. I'd love him to prove me wrong, but have seen nothing thus far to convince me. How do you correct a lack of speed, mobility, and general athleticism?
