In correlating news, Biden now leads Trump among NY and CA voters by 97 - 3, whereas back in December Biden’s lead was only 90 - 10.
Wake me up when the swing states polls come out.

Trump lost because Haley supporters were Establishment cucks and betrayed their party by not showing up to vote for Trump.
Not, we knew Trump was a terrible candidate with tons of baggage and an appeal only to his core base which was not nearly enough to overcome a weak but passable incumbent, but decided not to take the sure bet.

The excuse will be “the election was stolen.” It’s their go to. Trump has used it since day 1 in 2016, when he lost the Iowa caucus. Why change the excuse when you know your moron followers will believe it?

I am Jimmy, Leader of the Mole People of Greater Mecklenburg County. We inhabit the abandoned gold mines beneath the ground, and only come to the surface for the occasional kidnapping of a senior citizen. Who we later return. It's just a fun game we play. Nothing weird or gross.

It’s the same excuse. Just ask maga…
“Haley is a paid for, democrat plant being used to steal votes that rightfully belong to trump. “
“The dems want to keep her in the race as long as possible to attack trump, force him to spend money and protect biden. The fact that she hasn’t quit yet just “proves” that they are trying to steal the election.” Just ask them.
They’re peddling a “stolen election” 9 months in advance. Bunch of psychopaths.

Trump is clearly the best option though and in his one term he showed how much better the economy could be if the government would just get out of the way. (Aside from the government funded global pandemic of course)

The more Trump is on TV as the general election ramps up, the more polls like this you’re going to see. The bottom line is 30% of this country worships him, another 15% tolerate him, and the rest find him detestable. There’s no reason we should have to accept another four years of Biden, but here we are steamrolling towards it.

Perhaps the Snapshot is Correct

... the final picture is not.
The only way Trump wins is the economy tanks as it's on the upswing, we have a terrorist attack from some of the "migrants" or there is a total international mess and Joe's indecisiveness leads to scores of dead American troops.
If Haley somehow were to become the nominee, she would beat Biden much more handily. Lots of middle of the road Pubs and Dems are looking for an off ramp from decrepit Joe AND Trump.
If as expected Trump is the nominee, the more he runs his mouth and pushes people off his Team MAGA bus he will lose by more and I suspect lose the House and miss an opportunity to take the Senate.
The final picture also excludes the role 3rd party candidates may have which could make all this polling one way or the other irrelevant.
Trump has to add to his base. He's not apt to do so, the more he runs his mouth and people remember all the 6th grade BS he brings to the table.
It's ridiculous the GOP is going down this path when we have Biden as President. He and his VP both need to go.

He IS the most popular candidate in the GOP by a pretty good margin, and they can't just ignore their voters. They can't take him off the ballot (well, they could, but they won't without a substantive legal reason, and they don't want to look like the DNC in 2016). He's also too powerfully populist to simply remove. The writing is on the wall for them--he's a loss in the general unless something catastrophic happens, as you said.

That, my friend, is known as adding to the base.

I don't see any way Trump isn't the nomineee and I don't see any way he wins. And if the economy strengthens throughout the year I don't think any Republican candidate could unseat the incumbent so all this Trump, Nikki chatter is a waste of time at this point.

She'll rack up enough delegates if by the time the convention rolls around and Trump is, let's say, indisposed because of imprisonment, she has a good case that she should be the nominee rather than DeSantis. I don't know if they'd have to broker the convention still, but hers is a solid plan.

Big Mike will be our next president.
To all who insist that Big Mike isn’t interested in the trouble of being president, just remember this:
There is no law that prevents a president from resigning for any reason at all. A president can resign simply because he / she has had enough.
Big Mike will easily win the election when she gets parachuted into the DNC convention in August, which will happen shortly after Joe Biden ‘surprisingly’ announces in late July that he won’t seek re-election.
Not long after Big Mike gets sworn into office in January 2025, she has the option of resigning … at which time her VP will ascend to the presidency.
The question is: Who will Big Mike end up as being their pick for VP?
