I'm more worried about Dabo.
Any chance Dabo bolts for Tennessee or Auburn?

Most schools???

Seriously, do you really think that ANY school would hire Dabo unless Morris going with him was part of the deal? Let's face it... Morris saved Dabo's a$$. Until then, we were squandering talent like James Davis, CJ Spiller, et al and still losing to shyatt teams like Maryland. Dabo gets props for hiring the guy who saved his job.

Why would a coach whom gives up some of his paycheck to make his staff the highest paid staff in the country leave a school he has laid the groundwork on to become a consistent top 10 team? Only team he would leave for is Bama

Bama calling means we will have won multiple BCS games and

ACC championships if not a Natty Title.
Bama not calling means Chad Morris left and we blew the replacement hire and fizzled into a decent 9-3 type team who's in the mix every year but just a play or 2 short.

As long as we retain Morris as a head coach. It would be a chip Kelly type team.
When Morris leaves, I can see a chizik type situation. Dabo will need a cutting edge oc again or we will see 2009 redux.

Really? Because Dabo's recruiting has had nothing to do with our success?
Sure Morris is a great OC, but how good would he be without Boyd, Watkins, Hopkins, Ellington, Bryant, Peake, etc.??
We are freaking loaded on offense and Dabo needs to get a great deal of the credit for that.

and Clemson gave him his first big break. Plus, I think he is setting up this program to make a run to the top. Why would he leave when he is so close to doing it.

Are you seriously a Clemson fan?
Nov 19, 2012, 9:11 PM
|

How could a Clemson fan even come up with the idea? Why I mean Why would he do that? Why go from Clemson to those two? That make NO SENSE to me at all. We are concerned about Chad Morris because he is not a head coach so a head coaching job at either of those schools would be a step up. It would not be for Dabo. At least that is the a true Clemson fan would see it. I guess if I were an AU or TN fan I might see it differently.
