FAU is a pretty solid team that finished #45 last year and barely missed the ncaa tournament. This would be a good win to add to build the non conference win slate.

These are the kind of matches that Clemson needs to win to get back to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2013.There have been a lot of 4-3 losses since that season that has kept the Tigers out of the postseason.

Make that 2014,went back to look at the Tennis media guide from last season to verify that the year that I posted was correct and noticed that in the all time results section that it was 2014.Either way it has been a long long long time since the Tigers finished a season later than the ACC Tournament.

Both times with heartbreaking 4-3 ncaa tournament 2nd round exits, close to sweet 16.

Like a 4-0 comeback of their own to cancel out ours on court 3. Looks like Smith served it out though.

Looks like alot of close matches that could've went either way.

Hopefully they keep progressing as season goes on.

FAU is solid but not as good as Memphis who we beat last week fairly routinely. But at the end of the day good to get that tight test and come away with the road victory.

4-0 start with two very tough matches at home coming up vs Michigan State and South Carolina.
