They are projecting the franchise tag for DT is gonna be around $15.2 million. Compare that to the roughly $4 million he’s made over the past 4 years and that is one heck of a raise. Very well deserved.

He’d probably rather have a long term deal with a signing bonus bigger than the franchise tag amount. Hopefully he gets it before the lockout comes.

I thought heading into free agency season. Hope the Falcons org is legit about buying time for a similar long term deal.
I remember vividly reading back in that summer during Dabo's camp days when the coaches were all raving about this 2-star dude that was blasting everyone during drills when they offered him. Probably my most fave from the Dabo era but so many great ones now it's getting difficult.
Go Grady! Get that Falcons long term deal and keep pounding.
