What does culture really mean? Well to some culture means loyalty and effort on your behalf. The way I always heard it was the culture is defined by "Dancing with the one you brought to the dance" Not someone else!

Thats great if the feeling was reciprocal. Problem is we have a massive amount of kids transferring out and you cannot plug that with an 18 year old 3 star

A lot if fairly decent players. Kevin Swint for one was likely going to be on our two deep. Levonta Bentley for 2.
You cant just keep losing massive production and replace that with some walk on from alabama.

These guys are transferring for more playing time. That means they weren’t contributing much or expecting to contribute much here. It’s really not rocket surgery.

Yes, losing that many players with that production is a lot.
Levonta Bentley was super productive for us and is likely going to be a big time player for Deon.

The defensive Back that left and went to UGA was a big blow. Can’t remember his name. There are not many that I can think of.

You do realize that those players that left were on our 2 deep AND GOT PLAYING TIME.
Acting like losing so many players that were set to be o our 2 deep is just perfectly fine and can be replaced by an 18 year old is freaking crazy talk.
At some point we are going to lose half a position room. Then wth are we going to do. Its coming

some seem to think replacing quality depth is easy to do with high school recruits. I think half or more of our portal transfer are going to P5 teams, that says something about their perceived talent.

Actually the ones transferring out have already been beat out by guys on the roster. But looking at our incoming recruits also impacts their decion to leave as well. So in many cases the incoming recruits are better than the guys leaving and they know it, which doesn’t match your premise.

This sentiment can be easily proven by seeing how well the teams who bring in high level recruits use the portal. Do teams that use the portal regularly suddenly have a hard time recruiting at their previous levels? Take a look for yourself.

Shhh, people don't want to consider that we're a fringe top 10 recruiter the past 2 years and the other teams there all use the portal. Players, especially 5 Stars, don't worry about the portal because they all think they're good enough to start day 1.
