Why trigger the end of the ACC? This crap today makes me, as a lowly fan of the Clemson Tigers, NEVER, EVER become affiliated with either of those wretched conferences. All this junk has become is a return to the old fart, blue blood club from circa 1922 and crap like that.
“Let’s get our big alumni, blue bloods back where they belong! Rah rah! Go Big Blue! Ramma Jamma! Hook ‘em Horns! Fight on SC! Hail Notre Dame! OHIO! Boomer Sooner! Yeee Haw! The good ole days are back! Huzzah!!”
That’s all the media wants with this stupidity. It’s just like life. Big money and old money has a club and the rest of the world ain’t in it. Enjoy it anyway, serfs!
I hope Clemson stays right where they are at, but if the conference does dissolve, I’d rather Clemson be independent than be associated with anything with either of those two “conferences.”

Has zero to do with Clemson. The past has already proven that.
Where the committee screwed up is they shouldn’t have had FSU at four to begin with… With all due respect to our friend Bret.
Nevertheless, both Clemson and Florida State have already made the decision to leave. This does not change a single thing on the timeline.

And with every fiber of their being, FSU and Clemson still want to be SEC teams. And FSU will match up unfavorably vs. SEC opponent UGA. When Jordan Travis got hurt, it was over for FSU.
You are 1st class sir. But this is what ESPN/Fox Sport networks wanted. It was certainly a no-brainer outcome to predict when emotion was removed and business principles were applied to this decision.

Feel awful for you and your team, bretfsu® . It’s been a long hard road for FSU the past several years, and after all that to get screwed over like this after an UNDEFEATED season and ACC championship is just unfathomable. Just so wrong. It makes less and less sense every time I think about it. I feel devastated for Florida State today.
