Is he being projected as a LB at the next level? His build reminds me of Vic Beasley. Very strong but just too small for NFL DE.

What a dude! I still remember that hit you put on Eric Dungey in the fourth quarter of the Syracuse game in 2017. I bet he still walks funny from that hit. XT we are so grateful for you giving your heart and soul to Clemson. I hope you have a great NFL career.

Well, to be fair, he needs a good bowl game and Senior Bowl in order to even get drafted. A bit different than someone like Trotter who is a 1st round draft pick already

What do I know, but XT probably has a better NFL future at LB.
He’s fast enough to play LB in the league.
His build is a bit small to be a DE in the NFL; that is probably why he is not projected highly for the upcoming NFL draft. He has, however, demonstrated that he can indeed hold up OK to OT’s; that ability should enhance his possibility for a professional career at OB. The only question for him at LB is whether he can cover a TE.

I agree. As I said above, he reminds me a lot of Vic Beasley with his strength and speed but less than adequate NFL DE size. Hopefully if he gets a LB spot it goes smoother than Vic’s career.

This man graduate 3 years ago. I like the comment from the SEC Network announcer the other night when he said Thomas should have a doctorate in something by now and the other said something like "He's got a doctorate in pass rushing."

Not bc of his play but bc of his attitude. He loves Clemson and has given his all for the team in every way. I hope he plays for 10+ years in the league and makes more money than he could ever spend. No one deserves it more!

Great to see the maturity in this young man! Clemson stood tall behind him and now he is standing tall behind Clemson for finishing his career here AND in playing his last Bowl Game with us! Wish him well in the NFL!
