I find it funny that all their fans mention is conference affiliation. If you watch interviews with 95% of high school recruits they will tell you "conference doesn't matter." That's the simple truth. These kids want to have a good college experience, get good coaching, and eventually make it to the NFL, if they can win a national title on the way then great, but that isn't the main priority for most commits.
They are right, they have a better chance a national title on a year in, year out basis, but they recruits aren't looking at that crap. Ask DeMarcus what he liked about Clemson and he will probably tell you the coaches were great, it's a family atmosphere, he liked the offense, and he LOVED the girls (just kidding, but c'mon who doesn't have a soft spot for a girl in an orange sundress?)
Florida fans can cry all they want about "go compete for second place in the ACC while we win national titles every season" because Muschump is such a great coach but it only gets you so far.

The comments made a lot of sense in some cases BUT...

the 2 that were hilarious were the doof-ball who said the Gators are almost guaranteed at least one National title in the next 4 years, and the guy with the typo saying Clemson won't PAY for a national championship- I guess any SEC school would love to pay for one. How many have they paid for already?

Most all of them have been bought and paid for. They are the most sanctioned conference there is, but they have gotten the titles to show for it in many instances.

that's all I would ever care about.
School is only 3 year 4 years max. My life would revolve around getting that NFL contract.
So yeah, I'd say conference plays little in a kids decision.

The ACC routinely has just as many, if not more, 1st round picks as the SEC.

So glad to get this guy back. He has a good combination of size and speed. Florida is just mad that they didn't gain another blocker
