It would have made the statement that Clemson coaches were thugs.
If a Georgia coach punched an ump, what would your reaction be?
I think the umps’ actions were egregious, but I certainly don’t think that condones punching one of them. Next thing you know someone will say we should have an “enforcer” in the dugout with a board with a nail in it “just to keep them in line”.
