ok, say if clemson wins the ACC

and the committee leaves us out, what does that do to the ACC? That would be two years in a row that the ACC champ is left out. All that tells me is that they DO NOT respect the ACC. Does that affect Clemson's lawsuit any? Could the lawyers argue that being dragged down by the ACC is hurting Clemson and its interests? Just food for thought.

I thought it was the 4 HIGHEST RANKED P5 champs? So if we are the 5th highest ranked champ we could get left out

It’s the top 5 highest rated conference champs. Tulane losing last week eliminated the chance of the AAC champ being ranked higher

If we win, it would be helpful to us if Iowa State beats Arizona State and UNLV beats Boise State. Otherwise, I think we are #5 and no bye. I think that would mean that we would host the first playoff game which will be in our favor. Going to be interesting this weekend.

When looking at it again, if you are the fifth conference champion, your seeding is not guaranteed to be #5, so we could end up being #12. Perhaps, I'm wrong.
