29th best RB recruit is highly rated? We should be getting 5 star or at least borderline 5 star RB. I just cannot understand our lack of success at recruiting RB

He is a good-looking back. It is always hard to tell against HS competition how fast they are, but he makes everything look easy, seems to have extra gear, and is just fluid. I will be thrilled to see spiller get this guy. I think both Mafah and Shipley are 4-year guys though.

But I guess you can say that he is highly rated for us, in terms of our recent RB signees.

Kids got speed toughness and good hands. Was splitting carries with another D1 back so he played a lot of h back and slot last yr. His stocks only gonna rise this season when he gets more Carry's.

If you watch his film, you don't need a star rating to tell

Guys like Lynn J and Mikey Dukes were good backs with great film but not feature backs on a playoff caliber team. I hope this young man turns out to be a beast for us but is not an elite back (yet)

that was in SC Private school league. He needed more time which he didn't want to put in.I liked Lyn J,he just thought the job should have been his, without putting forth the effort required.
This kid's film looks great in Georgia 6A,world's apart .

Mikey played in SCISA, which is a joke of a league, it’s the SC private school league. He was a low 3 star based on his camp performances, not his film. He was always a huge project that would likely never pan out, but hopefully a good local locker room guy.

He’s the one we want. We’ve had several 5-Star RBs who

… who just did not pan out.
This player has the offers from top programs that outweigh his supposed star rating.
We’ve won national championships with RBs like this kid.
I’m happy with getting guys like this at RB as long as we keep signing top QBs.

Would be a good get. We are sorely lacking explosive plays down the field. This an area that must immediately improve for Clemson to be considered a contender. Alabama , Georgia , OhioSt can get multiple playmakers that are game- changers. It's not asking for anything more than what the other teams are able to field every year. It's unrealistic to expect us to compete with these teams with both hands tied behind our back every game.
Obviously this RB isn't that. Doesn't mean we can't use him. We can. But these plays come from the RB and WR for the most part. We must do better at both positions and the sooner the better
