I would love to play Ole Miss. I would love to send a great big message to one of their players and to his mother. I doubt the OB will be in play for them, though.

I also prefer Alabama. Also South Carolina to the Belk Bowl against ND? First off, South Carolina probably won't be bowl eligible. Second, I would think ND would get a better bowl than that.

Bump an ACC team out of one the next lower tier bowls. I don't think CBS has done their homework.

and they are projecting Duke to be more than 1 game above. The Belk Bowl could be the next 1 down for ND. The Citrus Bowl (whatever its name is) is some flex scheduling agreement with the ACC and Big 10.

They should be within 1 win of Duke at the end of the year.
They sit at 7-2 right now, Duke is 8-1.They have VT, UNC, and Wake left all at home.
Assume Duke loses the ACCCG, they will have 2 losses. Notre Dame has Northwestern, Louisville, and @ USC left. The Cards and Trojans will give them a game, but IMO they should at worst split the two giving them 3 losses.

Don't get me wrong...I've no problem with the team playing anyone. I'm just so freaking tired of those two conferences and their chest pounding. I would love to play someone from the PAC-12 or Big 12 just to give us a break from having to hear about our opponent's conference for the entire build-up to the game.

Is still a team that's good. If they play Notre dame like they did auburn then it will be a good matchup.
