I know we will start the season favored in all are games. Does that sound like the number 17 team.

Mainly because they had to replace their entire defense. Clemson is replacing their entire defense. 17 seems right. High enough to move up but low enough to take into consideration the unknowns on the defense.

.......9-12... I think the only reason anyone wouldn't rank Clemson that high is just the fact that Deshaun has been hurt 3 times this past season. I think if they knew he would be healthy they would have Clemson there. I know Clemson lost a lot on defense but Clemson has plenty of talent and a secondary that will more than likely be one of the best in the country. Clemson's offense, if Watson is healthy, maybe as prolific as Oregon's was this year. I think the next 3 years, if Watson stays for his senior year, will have as good a chance of playing in the playoff as any team in the country. 2015 will tell ys a lot on that front.....

the linebacking corp will be very salty, bv's 'backers always are. plenty of talent in what will be the starting d-line, the depth is a concern, however. the offense will be very good,as long as we can keep dw healthy.

You guys are playing it way to safe. We are better than anyone we play next year. This is the most complete team we have fielded in over 20 year. There is not a position on this team that is weak. Yes we lost some dl but we have stacked talent there. Secondary is the best in years. Ton of talent at lb. I would say we will have a top 15 defense next year and a tip 10 offense. That usually give you a big time team.

I'm thinking we win 10 again in the regular season. That imho would equal around 17.
Fsu, GT, Notre Dame will be tough games. And as of right now, I believe we lose at least one of the three.
Now, my feelings may change after spring ball and when we get closer to those games.

I think with all of the questions that 15 is fair. These prognosticators are not as familiar with our depth as we are. Our season will hinge on the speed of development of both lines AND the health of Watson. If both lines develop quickly AND DW can stay healthy, then 12 wins is very much possible. In fact, if you could guarantee me those things, I would say 12 wins is likely. As in 12-0. FSU, ND, and Louisville will be our 3 biggest challenges with GT being a bad matchup for the Jackets.
