Explain why people want to hire someone with less experience for WR coach.

I'm all for making a change at WR coach. But why would you want to hire another former Clemson player with even less experience who also received his training under the current guy whom you want to fire?

Grisham is probably no doubt a great dude. However he has failed at his job presently. We won games because of great receivers in the past and now we are losing with these average guys that drop balls at critical moments

This is where you guys go into the ditch. Does anyone think that Dabo and Garret know how to coach them? Isn’t that what Dabo did way back when? WR is not rocket science.
The idea that a position coach does his own thing is ludicrous. It’s just another lame attempt to blame someone for the 4 Ls
Obviously, we don’t have the horses at wr. If you got an NFL wr coach, the players are the same.
So it comes down to recruiting and that is a group effort as well.
We certainly need next years guys to step in and step up. Hopefully this coincides with Cade gaining some moxie.
However it works out, rest assured that we don’t have a renegade wr coach. He works for Dabo and coaches how Dabo wants him to coach.
Dabo has loyalty, but he also understands recruiting better than any of us.
Let him make football decisions and you guys need to stick to tailgating recipes.

Anyone could have coached our receivers during the Watson and Lawrence years. We have had so many injuries the last couple of years and together with less talented players to start with, it would not matter who was coaching them because they did the best they could do.

That is not totally true, Jeff Scott took some 3 star WR and made some of them into big star FB players. And he is sitting in an office at Clemson, and I feel that Dabo is going to bring him back down on the field, and I would be super shocked if he doesn't!!!

I think the decision is actually Jeff’s and not Dabo’s. Jeff has to decide when he is ready.
