Not as cliche as "We Will Rock You", great intro that they could really do some cool stuff with with the lights, and it, you know, fits the school/team! They might could even work it to where Tiger Band plays along with it.
Just my unsolicited 2 cents, which, post-inflation, are about 0.02 cents these days.... :/

Agree and I would say most would agree. As stated above, fits the school better. Good choice of words cliche. I'd prefer Tiger Rag if we can't do "eye of the tiger".

different games.
For example, if next weekend, vs NCS, we're dealing with bad weather from the hurricane, we could use "Rock You Like a Hurricane". It might be cool to mix it up like that - whether it's just playing different cool songs that work great for pregame, or making it fit the opponent, weather, time of day, or whatever. Would be kinda fun not knowing what song will be played. There are loads to pick from!

and what a waste that great entrance song is, totally wasted on that chicken cursed, garbage football program-they should be embarrassed to come out in such a fashion, totally misrepresents what they are. Off the top of my head, Radiohead's CREEP is more apropos-

it makes for a great entrance. Not sure you get that with Eye of the Tiger...but I do like the song. Maybe play that when we need a stop or we are running the ball down the enemies throat.
Also like the introduction to Thunderstruck by ACDC...it was my daughter's walkup song.

or maybe something region specific. Like LSU has really leaned into the "Calling Baton Rouge" song recently. Florida with Tom Petty won't back down. Would be cool if we had a song to hand out hat on uniquely.

The band has played it in pregame. They used to do it all the time before they formed the tunnel and played Orange Bowl March and Tiger Rag for Running Down the Hill.

Eye of the Tiger lacks the intensity that you want for an intro. My personal suggestion would be Thunderstruck by AC/DC. Just the first few seconds.

Cause Queen is woke culture that we are required to subscribe to and use especially since that movie Brain Washed some folks on exaggerating the talent level there. The things on Bohemian Rhapsody harmony wise and more had been done years before by The Beach Boys, The Beatles , Pink Floyd and many others. But they just weren’t homosexuals enough I guess.

LSU uses "Eye of the Tiger." In my opinion, it's not a great song to pump up the crowd.
