Why is it that every talking head keeps referring to georgia

Aug 29, 2014, 6:28 PM

replacing Aaron Murrey w/ a fifth year senior and clemson has inexperience at quarterback w/ cole stoudt. I know it's semantics but it just seems like they believe there is a difference in the 2 situations when there is not. I know everyone will say SEC bias but, after vanderbilt's beating at the mighty hand of Temple last night, you would think they slow down pumping the SEC tires.

I've thought about that too. I think it's because Stoudt has mostly only gotten mop up duty and Mason got a little time as starter last year when Murray went down. Still not too big a difference in my opinion.

in 3 games, including starting 2 big ones at the end of the season. They were able to already judge and see what kind of QB they think he will be based off of that and also feel in their minds that starting this games won't be as big a deal as it will be for Cole, who has never started.

That being said since they haven't gotten to really see Cole they don't really know what we already do, that we are going to have a seamless transition at QB and will not have a let down offensively.

We are gonna get the benefit of the doubt on the QBs because in the Richt tenure we have only had one year were we had a QB that didn't play in the NFL. Greene,Shockley,Stafford,Cox,Murray. I am sure they think Bobo will just plug and play Mason

That is our scoring engine in RB and WRs. Tajh and those guys accounted for about 85 percent of out scoring last season (not sure about the exact percentage ).

It is a concern to be honest with you but maybe Cole, Howard, and one or two receivers tomorrow will become a house hold name..
Andre was a 1000+ after Spiller and so was hot Rod last year that surprised everyone .. I remember one of the announcers last year that said:" we came to watch the Gurley/Marshal show instead we got the McDowell show" or something to that regard.

Go tigers
