You can't keep a good man down. The Browns just lost a kicker temporarily, but a replacement was waiting. Kicker is an extremely competitive position, but B.T's chance is a matter of time. Good luck to him.

I hope he does get a spot on a team. I can’t remember but the other day I was watching an NFL game and the kicker missed 2 field goals and I am thinking they need to contact BT.

In all seriousness...

Wasn't really asked to make clutch kicks while at Clemson...

Though if he made the 3 FG's vs Tenn... would have been huge..

There are only 32 kicker positions in the league compared to 80+ QB's. Right now Potter is not one of the best 32 in the world. Maybe he'll get a shot this upcoming season.

This is it. As much as BTP was a weapon for Clemson, there are only 32 spots and it's not just other rookies but vets also competing for those spots.

Kicking in the NFL is harder than college. The goal post are much more narrow than college.
