Why do our coaches even allow players to tweet?

Mar 29, 2013, 3:36 PM

It seems like everything that comes out is either wrong - or can be interpreted in a bad way. So why the heck do they even tweet?

Maybe we have to hire a Tweet Editor (if there is such a thing). :) All tweets must go thru the Tweet Editor. Coaches should watch Good Morning Vietnam and begin to understand.

America. Soon enough we'll have a government mandate that

Home of the free, the US of A. It's their human right to tweet!

thats what happens when people only want positive news brought up. deny that anything is wrong and all negative information must be false. not every player feels the same about subjects or coaches. players have freedom of speech rights like everyone else. we all have to learn to take the good with the bad, and be more realistic and less delusional. not every one is ALL in!

don't be surprised if you get the boot for going on public forums and stating opinions. That's the real world.

Freedom of speech doesn't mean there are not consequences.

say. freedom of speech is a right that has gotten scores of people in hot water, a team player is no different. some things are better left alone, the general population doesn't need to know everything.

Most young people tweet nowadays...

so if you come from highschool to Clemson to play basketball, I don't really think that means you shouldn't be able to, just be careful with it.

All the FB players tweet, and nobody seems to mind

No tweeting during the season, that seemed to work last year, no distractions and a top 10 ball club!

following some of the playas' it is suprising to see so much profanity and politically incorrect words.

some of the more successful teams restrict social media during the season.
