A lot of teams are using them now. I think they're ridiculous but whatever the coaches want, I'm fine with.

Yeah Im not saying I dont want our guys to be safe Im just saying we might be seeing them used in real games and such soon. The game of football we once knew is dwindling. I know that the guys hate them too.

Reports on how heavy, hot, and weird they are. I wouldn't want to wear them if I were a D1 college kid.

Maybe they thought the caps were actually helmets and just wore them? Or maybe they were just "pretty". I dont know, I cant stoop down to that level of thinking.

We used them in the Spring - it is about player safety not copying unless you are a #### and can't see the difference.
