Why can't I find the "sign out"tab on here

Click on your avatar in the top left of the screen next to your name. In the drop down is LOGOFF

It is on the right side of my screen and I had clicked on it and everything else on the screen and it wouldn't bring it up. But it just worked for the first time after 20 attempts.
