Good question. I can think of a few possibilities.
1. Maybe he's waiting to see exactly who signs, and who signs elsewhere, on Wednesday.
2. Maybe he is, and we just don't know about it.
3. Maybe the thinks the guys in the portal are better than those who are not already committed elsewhere and are interested in Clemson.
4. Maybe he's waiting till Wednesday, then look at the roster and decide which vacancies can be filled from the February signing day and which can be filled from the portal.
Those are better than some other reasons I've heard, like....
5. Maybe he's just too stubborn to change his ways.
6. Maybe he's just to stupid to understand how to recruit people in today's game. Maybe the game has just passed him by.

This site has too many a$$ clowns on it. Someone asks a good question and the idiots come out and insult them. Someone says something and they don't like it "they are a coot", then there are the dumb miss leading posts. Please all you a$$ clowns get off the site so that serious fans that want to exchange or get information can without having to sift through your garbage. And yes I agree, would like to know if anyone has heard if we are turning up the wick to get new recruits or who in the portal we are looking at.

If we are going to fill needs with the "portal", why not wait and see who else gets mad on other teams and wants to transfer after seeing who signs this week? If we lose players via the portal, we should replace them the same way since you can't just offer high schoolers if we didn't know we were going to have openings and can get better players with experience.

Have you looked at the portal. Who would you offer. Most are 3 stars or less that could not make it itch their chosen school. Most will likely never play college ball again.
