The Athletic Department may have to purchase a 747 to ferry all of the prospects from California, Arizona, Texas and all states West of the Mississippi River to and from Clemson now that our recruiting base is nationwide.

I’m not sure those busses are used strictly for the athletic programs. I think Mr. Young may have had to pay for those wraps himself.

The buses are owned by Young out of Ashville. It was more than likely a school group from around here. The buses are not Clemson property.They can be anywhere they are leased out by Young.

You are correct, they are not owned by Clemson. You could see them anywhere. I saw them at a NASCAR race once in Bristol. The driver told me they go everywhere. He had even been to NYC with one of them.

Back in 1979 my school group took a Young's bus to Pocatello, ID driven by Mr Young himself (i think).

We would have loved riding in a Tiger Pawed bus back then.
