What does attending the game have to do with posting

I live in Colorado and will be 82 in one week. Since I haven't won Powerball I can't afford to go to the game. Does that mean I can't post. I'd say if you haven't competed at the college level maybe you shouldn't post, as opposed to attending games being your yardstick.

Right now both I and my wife are not able to travel. We were blessed in the late 90's to have a friend that would let us use two of her tickets yearly. She was a Memphis girl and had never seen anything like Clemson. We would tailgate just southwest of the stadium. It was a tremendous environment with all ages of people around us. About 2 spaces down a family had a boy about 4 years old. He had a football and would come and throw it to everyone in our group with the biggest smile on his face. I would usually chose a game that would be a blow out and after halftime most of the group would just stay and tailgate. Maybe two of us diehards would go back in for the second half. We have many great memories of her conversion to a Clemson fan.
Again thank you for your generous offer. Even if we were in one of the suites I don't know if we could get through the entire game.

We both love watching at TTT for the noise and excitement. We always seem to run into friends there too. Air conditioning is also a great invention.

Question was, "How many of you attend games?" Not where you watched it while in attendance. Shout out to those of you who make the trip, support the local economy and enjoy the day in Tigertown. I was just curious, but feel as though a lot of those who post on TNET have the opportunity to participate in the GAMEDAY experience, but DO NOT. They love to complain when things don't go as planned, and are the first jump on train when everything is on track.

Definitely have a right to do what you enjoy, but I’d go crazy if I was within a mile of Death Valley on a Saturday and didn’t go in the game. And I know several who do the same as you, so it’s not that uncommon. I used to think they wouldn’t keep score if I wasn’t there back as a kid/teen, couldn’t stand to not be at a game home or away

I know what you're saying, but my wife really can't stand the sun and heat at our age. We used to actually go to the games, but now only occasionally later in the season.

Some of us don't live close enough to regularly attend games.
All real Clemson fans (aka alumni) are welcome to post on TNet. 😉

I live in South Florida, I'm 78 years old and seldom travel. However, from 1955 until 2014 I probably saw as many or more than any Tiger fan. So I guess that gives me some insight into Tiger Football. What's your point anyway, I can see the games much better on TV than I ever did in person, but when I lived in the upstate, I always preferred seeing the games in person. So should people who watch on TV not be allowed to comment on T-Net. Grow up sonny boy....

Not that it is any of your particular business, but I stopped attending games when my health declined, but was posting on Tigernet during and after that time. I still send support to Clemson financially when I can.

I would love to attend, but live in Florida, and the ticket prices are crazy! I did go to the Gatorbowl in Jacksonville last year. I sat 3 rows behind the bench, best seats I ever had. Great game.

for many years, but these days we generally go into Clemson on game days, tailgate or wander and see who we can see, then retreat to our front porch to watch them (we live 45 minutes away). If that makes us bad fans, then so be it. I will admit that we are spoiled, and have great appreciation for air conditioning, clean (and available) bathrooms, refrigerators and remote controls.
We spent all of our money sending our kids to Clemson, and consider that a somewhat better investment.

I have lived out of state for the last 13 years until recently. I attended the game in Columbia last year because we came home for Thanksgiving. When we lived in Easley, we went regularly, but it has been few and far between since residing in Ohio and Texas. I hope to catch a game soon, I'm looking at more games in NC because they are cheaper on the road.

Oh good, another velvet rope coot post. Next you will do a poll about how many are actual alumni. Because they are the only real fans right? Good luck against Akron.
