Its the only way I can see the complete overhaul of this program that needs to happen. He's never been a guy for humility or to admit wrongdoing. Having said that, he's not going anywhere. We'll be lucky to hold on to what little talent is on this current roster for next year. Why would Moore or Wesco stick around? Sadly, we haven't even bottomed out yet.

but he is the best hope. If he finally admits he was wrong, and makes changes, then Clemson can get competitive again. But his ego is gonna have to take a backseat.

I agree...but have zero faith this will occur. Its been a years long downward trend. His "culture" is failing. I just looked at the football team homepage, it looks like a yearbook page and family reunion welded into one. Why the #### do we have and need all these internal hire support staff? Its a freaking jobs program for his buddies.

I see a lot of TD. Probably because so many love Dabo as I do. But I still don’t think Dabo has it in him anymore. I’m not rich but if I was I’d put a lot of money on a bet that Dabo won’t get us back to the CFP more win another ACC Champ.
I for one don’t ever want to see our HOF winning coach fired. He needs to be able to ride off into the sunset on his own accord. If that means we have to suffer through a few bad seasons for him to recognize that reality then so be it.

Wait....so because of past success he's entitled to ride out his contract on sub-500 seasons. I dont think we can afford to buy him out, but past successes will have greater impacts than just a bad seasons record. Athletic revenue, fan support and attendance, even student enrollment are impacted by football. He's a victim of his own success. We as alumni/fans are victim to his bloated contract.
