This is only being done in an effort to reduce players exposure to Tampering maggots and not shining a spotlight on players. The more you can keep players sheltered the more likely the scouting buzzards don't find new players to bait away from NCST.

With the current level of tampering I believe this will become more common. Out of sight out, of mind is how you want to keep your best players in the off season imo.
Only fix is to move that last portal opening but I do not see where you could possibly move it.

Lots of teams are going to start doing this because the Spring Game is basically like a televised tryout for the transfer portal. If you're the backup slot receiver with no real snaps under your belt and you look good in the spring game you can jump in the portal and you have some film to show teams now.
