Who will be Clemsons Paul DePodesta?

GT just picked theirs. AI has changed the game but how do you measure value differently from other College Athletic programs. How do value an 17/18 year old vs two2 year starter at Non Power 5? We all agree that statistics and algorithms should not be used 100% of the time. In this day and age, schools dropping cash like every year for little ROI will be questioned by leadership. If Ohio State doesn’t win the National Title this year, does the seat warmer go up to “two” for Ryan Day?

The playing field is changing daily. Clemson needs to find their GM now.

Clemson hired a firm to manage this. Everett Sports Marketing. They will oversee our program and provide guidance.

Thanks for the tidbit. So we will not have an internal manager/lead?

All coaches would work through Everett on everything? Seems like we would want some folks on the inside as well. Just my opinion. But glad it on the radar.

I am sure we will have an internal manager. I don’t know if that decision has been made yet or at least made public.

He is not meeting expectations just within with the Football team at this point and time. Love Sorrells At he is an upstate guy; but this role has evolved into something he doesn’t have the appropriate skill set for. How can we lose on ALL four guys from the recruiting class in the last month. If he has a financial reference grid/matrix it needs to be tweaked!
