A number of individual Indian tribes like the Seminoles have negotiated name, likeness, logo and mascot rights.

Splain me then why the Seminole nation officially supports FSU using the Seminole and all its likenesses. I am 1/4 Cherokee and 1/8 Catawba. I see the mascots as a symbol of pride.

It's freaking hillarious that people outside the group fight for something without cause. They just want a voice about something without considerstion of the group.
There is a petition that has been shared circulated
within the the Native American community and they have over 600,000 signatures.
The native indians viewed it as to homage for their country that was stolen from them. Only the dumba#$'d woke dummies assumed people would be offended. Fact is very few people are offended of social topics unless they are atrocious. Many prefer the way things are and are not offended by representing history to make people more aware.
The lack of arrests made during the Floyd crisis where all the Statues were being torn down, even the statues of persons that fought against slavery because they were ignorant to what the staue represents. Prime example of voices of few created name change yet the masses of the natives never wanted it removed.
Prime example if lefters making unwarranted waves.

My personal take is Redskins is questionable, Indian less so ____ Braves, Chiefs and tribe names like Seminoles can actually show respect if mascots and logos done right.
