Dabo for not practicing what he preaches and going outside of the Clemson family for Riley aren't big fans of adoption. There are lots of different kinds of family. I, for one, was happy we adopted Riley. There's nothing wrong with loving him the same as the natural born coaches, if you will. The truth is, the naysayers are looking for anything to knock Dabo down. They can keep grasping at straws, and he will keep stocking the trophy case.

Not here. In the Athlon preview magazine an opposing ACC assistant coach is quoted as follows: "...When you recruit against these guys, all you hear about is 'family, family, family,' and him (Dabo) going outside of his group and making the change at offensive coordinator...isn't about family. That's accepting the reality you're just another football program, and you have to do things like Alabama and Ohio State to stay relevant with those guys..." (found on page 49 of this year's magazine) I was a bit surprised they'd put a crappy quote like this from a person who has eaten too many sour grapes. No doubt upset that Dabo has been beating the stuffing out of his and many other teams over the past decade. All I can say is...get used to disappointment, buddy.

I have question and if you don't have the answer, why all of a sudden you decided to make this accusation about people knocking on Dabo. Who are the T-Netters that are knocking Dabo, and what are they knocking on him about? I'm in and out on here every single day and I haven't seen anybody knocking Dabo, and especially not for hiring Garrett?

Most of the top coaches get stones thrown their way. Comes with the territory when you are on top. Newsflash - Dabo went outside of the friendly family confines a decade ago when he looted Oklahoma to bring in Morris and Venables. Riley is not a case of first impression.
