Who is your midseason MVP?

Tough to call I know. There are many options. I would honestly go with Mack Alexander. He literally takes each team's #1 receiver virtually out of the game. With the amount of young QBs we've played, it's much tougher for them to have to go to their second and third checks almost every single pass play, particularly with our D line and safeties quickly looming. Thoughts?

all these guys have made enormous contributions. I like Wayne too. He is becoming a scary good back.

Can't argue with any of those. Also Boulware being the man in the middle making all of the checks and audibles defensively (an extremely underrated part of his job).

Its gotta be DW and its not even close.
If you had said "other than Watson" the answer would be Kearse

He is the reason we are 6-0 right now
We could very easily be 2-0
He has avoided about a dozen or so plays that would have been sacks by Tajh
He hasnt been his best at all times, but he is the straw that stirs the drink.
DW is most definitely our MVP

Kearse is like the Kam Chancellor of this team. Built like an LB, freakish size and plays the pass and especially the run very well.

Let's resphrase the question....

After Watson, which players on the team would be the biggest loss without them?
I would go Boulware as the most important after Watson.

Yes after Watson is definitely how to answer this question. Gallman, Boulware and Alexander have been great but the o-line still leaves me a little concerned. How about some love for Lawson on the D!

We have too many. Why are you asking tough questions like this. I can remember when there was only ONE, and now, Dabo & Co. have created another problem for us. How are we supposed to pick just one guy? Fire Dabo...oh wait

He still needs to clean up his busts. They are costly and while the good plays are exciting, one bust negates a lot of good flashy plays.

Gallman. He has taken a lot of pressure off of DW4
Oct 22, 2015, 7:55 AM

Maybe not so much last game, but throughout the season he has been consistent and produced. I could go the entire D-line, or the guys in the secondary too. I think Gallman has given us options this year, similar to Ellington a few years back (we didn't always take advantage of them with Morris). I really think, other than the BC game, Clemson has decided how they want to win football games passing or rushing the ball; that is huge. DW4 hasn't been bad, but he hasn't been superman like he was at times last year either. A few too many turnovers that were his fault keep him out of the MVP spot for me (although I wouldn't trade him for anyone). Maybe even Huegel as well. I don't think you can discount the impact he has had on the season with the Lakip situation. He has been solid and given us breathing room when needed.

Mid seasonMVP, the Fans, who filled up the stadium to sit thru 2 fabulous games in the rain, one a storm for the ages and then when the sun came out, still filled up the stadium. Something special in those hills!!!!!

Me too, Scott. I'm surprised he's not mentioned more. Somehow, it's gotten to the point here on Tigernet, If one doesn't say Watson, one is an idiot, moron and a coot. That being said, I'm still anxiously awaiting Watson to put it all together and show the world he is worthy of the preseason hype of which I believe he can still do the second half of the season!

entire defense team on that side. I think that they have played well as a team, with no real single standout. The tackles have freed up the ends, the LBs have done well aside from some coverage issues, and the back four have done their part for sure. Great team effort on the D.
