Jennings was highly rated. Never did pan out. The one from down in I believe Taccoa that recruiting guru, ensminger said would never be an impact player in the ACC,Dale Davis turned out fairly good.

Jennings wasn't bad .He played in a bad system.AT 6'9"he is more of a post player, yet Purnell, and Brownell were both featuring the run and gun offense while Milton was there.

Jennings was horrible. He would have never made it at a basketball school. What did he do after school? Most 5 stars don’t stay in school very long and I think he stayed 4 years and went undrafted. Not sure he even avg 15 a game. It does not matter what system you are in I expect a 5 star player to be a difference maker and he never was. Huge disappointment imo.

He may be excellent at flipping burgers or the fry basket, but at basketball, he was terrible.

Do you have personal experience, or are you just saying that because he got caught with weed.
Seems like you know how to have fun too considering your panic avatar.

in high school, so it's hard to say. Milt in the last 20 years. Sharone Wright was extremely highly recruited but even he was before the type rankings we have today

Either Skip Wise, Horace Grant or Larry Nance. These are 3 of the best to ever play at Clemson.

Horace (and twin brother harvey) was the very definition of 'sleeper". they were not heavily recruited at all. remember someone asking coach foster at an IPTAY function and the best thing he could say about them was "they've got real big feet and we think they'll grow." in today's rankings, wise would prob be the highest rated. but Tree, Elden, stan rome were all highly rated. then you have highly rated guys who never quite panned out like rickey jones, clarke bynum, jumping joe ward and milton jennings. not knocking them... jones, bynum and Jennings all "contributed. ward transferred out. They just didn't play as well as their high school rankings would have indicated.

Skip Wise in talent not in size as your question suggests. The correct answer in size is probably Tree.

Skip Wise was no slouch. He came to Clemson with another guy who was a pretty good basketballer too. Stan Rome was an a first team all American in both sports. Actually played basketball at Clemson for a season. Tates Locke had a mind of his own and fortunately, Clemson survived him!
The Tree would be high on this list. Among my favorites would be “Boogie” McEntire. I really like that kid.

added to his height to include his "fro". Butt, BIG, he was not. He was about as beanpole as a 7'2" guy could be, at the start of his college career. He added a lot of weight later on, pretty much had to, to survive in the NBA of the time. He was never a huge offensive weapon, but he was a GREAT shot blocker from Day one on defense.

Tree was the belt recruit and we won a lot of games when he was here
Skip Wise was probably the highest rated and unfortunately has a horrible story
I play Tree in a pick up game at Fike when I attended Clemson - great time

I’m going with Horace Grant or Dale Davis. Not sure what they were rated but they were difference makers.

Tree Rollins and Skip Wise would have been the equivalent of top 10 players for their classes in the McDonald All-American list now, so I would say those two.
