the rule of DEMs for about 60 years? And, the Gov of Hawaii could have done a lot more to have prevented this horrific fire being worst that it was due to bad decisions and policies. Seems in about every state & major city in America that has DEM leaders, they are not getting it done for their voters yet their voters keep them in!

There needs to be a postmortem on the Maui fire and especially about the failure of the alarm system to have warned more citizens.

I'm not sure the Dems are responsible for a drought, dry grass, winds between 60-80 mph and lots of old wooden buildings. The fire was moving as fast as a mile a minute. I doubt any administration would have enacted a physical fitness program among its citizens that would have had any 1 minute milers.

Cutting back on police officers, cashless bail, raising the threshold for what constitutes grand theft, a general aversion for punishment by some progressive DA's and allowing the homeless to camp, #### and defecate on streets with essentially open air drug markets in some cities certainly deserves criticism, but putting this fire on Dem politicians seems really weak sauce.
