It's no surprise that a 9-3 QB from the almighty SEC would be favored over a 13-0 conference champ playoff QB in Penix

I still say that’s fair. They are likely to have a bowl game they may or may not choose to participate in. You should have to finish all of your teams games before handing out awarads.

Should win it.
He had the most passing yards: 4,218. 33 TD. Most important; he beat Oregon and Bo Nix twice and his team is in the playoffs.
Bo Nix finished with 4, 145. 40 TD and only 3 int. Penix had 9 int. But, again, twice when it counted Penix won.

Award lost all credibility handing it to two freshman back back to back. Manziel and Winston. I always thought it was an award for the best all-around football player. Including their character. The Heisman folks were already on shaky ground giving it to Cam Newton. No longer interested. No longer relevant to anything.

Daniels is going to win because he is the only player from the South in the running. Nix and Pennix will split the West Coast votes. Harrison is not head and shoulders above the LSU, Washington, or Oregon top WRs so he is probably close to third with Nix.

I would say Nix ..... because I don't like the idea of a sixth year player playing in college and I usually don't like the result. Hardly remember his Auburn days.
