I have no idea. You never know with these things. My gut is that he is convicted of something, but never goes to jail. He then wins the presidency due to people being apathetic about Biden. Trump gets in office and goes on a crusade to get his "enemies". In the end, America has a whole suffers overall. He will be a mess.

Most likely Gavin Newsom. There’s just no way Biden has the physical ability to go 5 more years. He will be secretly forced to bow out. I’ve heard some say Michele Obama for the VP. I’m just down to begging you democrats. Please no on a Newsome / Obama ticket.

I am fascinated about how the Democrats will get Biden to announce that he won’t seek re-election.
The timing for when Biden makes this announcement is also important.
These opening acts for potential replacements for Biden have been intriguing. Kind of like a velvet glove version of a real primary. From my vantage in the cheap seats, this looks like a smart political strategy. Major political process experimentation afoot here … right before our eyes instead of being (entirely) behind closed doors.

Hopefully it's better than what the t-net lawyers have come up with, but honestly he's not fielding the best and brightest. A history of not paying his lawyers or asking them to join in on the crimes really catching up to him at the worst time.
Probably says a lot though that so far nobody is arguing any of the facts laid out in the indictment. Everyone just throwing 'what he did do wasn't actually illegal' bull#### at the wall to see what sticks.

Only seen summaries. 1a is a strong defense. Politicians lying on purpose is protected.
I don't know how the prosecution wins.
