APM's football observations from Sunday & lass nite.

First, APM fell asleep and went to bed lass nite at the start of the 4th quarter, when apparently the game started getting good. Anyhow, main take from that game is just how far Clemson has fallen seemingly overnight.

We are top 15 at best with DJU. And I have my concerns about Streeter at OC. Time will tell, but I'd sleep a lot better at night with at least one serviceable back up to DJU. CK will not start as a true freshman.

Also, personally, I did not get emotionally invested for UGA as I thought I might. I was impressed with their D, but at no point was I pulling for them. Slept fine last night not knowing who won the game. Did not care.

Juxtapose that reaction with what happened in the Chargers/Raiders game Sunday night. APM watched every single minute. Stayed up 'til 12:15 and it was worth it. What. A. Game. With all the intrigue about a tie and Renfrow on one side and Mike Williams on the other. Wow. That was awesome.

Finally, not once but twice since this past weekend I watched the replays of the 2017 Natty, including watching it last night. That final drive...best ever. And THAT is the Dabo I like. Seeing him and the players in tears at the end of that game. Thanking all the players who had come before them. I miss that Dabo and the character of those 2015-2018 teams. Renfrow, DW4, Mike Williams, Leggett, CW42, the Power Rangers, Mackensie Alexander, I could go on. THOSE teams were the best of everything.
