I went to the game, here are my thoughts...

It was a great environment, and Texas fans were friendly. I hope we can get a home playoff game in the Valley next year.
Positives:
The team didn't give up. I liked the aggressiveness we played with on offense. Cade and the WRs were great, and we did something to Texas no other offense has been able to do. The OL was not perfect, but they were good enough. The offense was the reason this wasn't a worse beatdown.
Negatives:
The defense was a complete failure, and Wes Goodwin needs to be fired. I'm stunned by our inability to stop the run. We clearly don't trust our back up RBs because we have not prepared them. This is a failure of coaching. We didn't even really try to establish a run with the RB.
We can appreciate our guys not giving up, but it's still a two touchdown loss. There are no moral victories here. The staff once again did not have us prepared to play a 4 quarter game.

For God’s sake this. Dabo has always ignored special teams to an extent. We get zero pressure on opposing punters. It’s like practice for them bc they know they have a free kick. Our punter rarely flips the field. Did he get one over 40 yards yday?

Will Spiers was not bad. Hardly great, but not bad.
Swanson did his best. Sometimes experience is just not enough to overcome limited ability.

Year we win the 2015 National Championship.
You may recall he did kickoffs. Also he never had anyone bring it out because he kicked it through the back of the endzone.
In the 2015 national championship we had a kickoff return for a touchdown against us

The 30-something yard punts didn't help either. Fact. Not once did we flip the field. Not once.

Worst defensive effort in 10 years at Clemson. They give the offense some help and we could be playing in the peach bowl . Only qualms with the Offense was playing calling near the endzone when we tried to run up the middle on the strength of Texas DL. This was like trying to score on Christian Wilkins and Dexter Lawrence running into their gaps. Poor playing calling their not respecting the strength of Texas defense.
