so it's hard to blame the guy for taking another job in his profession and he has previous ties with USuC. If he had resigned from Clemson to take a job with the gamecocks, that would be very cootish.

There are probably a few more advantages than that, but it doesn’t matter. We gambled on him, it didn’t work, we moved on. He has to hold his own conscience from here, just like the Clemson Athletic Dept.
Hope he does well, and gets swept by Clemson every year.

Monte was just like Jack was and should have moved on from his pitching guy sooner, plus he was told to keep Lecroy which also could have been a negative. This roster is because of Monte and his staff, EB is saying all the right things but he also needs to win because this roster is too 3-5 in ACC if not top 2-3.

I honestly am glad they transferred to be honest. Brewer had lost his starting job part of the year and French did not impress imo. Flashes but not consistent.

Monte did not take them. They transferred and went to USUC before he was hired. One of the reasons they left was because of him. None of them were happy with getting benched and did not like Monte’s way of coaching. I call this poetic justice.
