I said it would be a great time to pinch hit. with runners on 1st & 3rd Monty didn't & the obvious happened. Next inning Duke pinch hits a 2 run HR. To win another come from behind loss for us. Monte will be back next year. I hope someone else will coach batting. Hawkins was gonna be 1 of the main bats. I have never seen so many ko's in my life by tigers swinging at balls outside, up & most of all in the dirt. Even if they have no talent. They can learn when not to swing. It happened all yr. Beginning to end.

I heard on the radio yesterday that we averaged striking out
