When do you think we will break out the purple? FSU unis?

I remember Dabo said he wanted to a tradional look at Clemson with orange and white and that purple was reserved for "royalty".
Im assuming we wont wear it until we win a NC or big BCS Bowl. However, it would be pretty cool to break it out against FSU. Even if we went crazy with it and pulled out the old school purple helmets. What about Purple or Orange Chrome helmets. Make it exciting and different, I say. just this once.
Thoughts?

I am in the minority but I miss the orange pants on the road, the orange pants at home for that matter and the purple jerseys-orange pants combo. Really wish coach would mix it up but as long as they win, who cares? GO TIGERS!

We've never worn purple helmets. We had navy helmets with an orange X across the top in the leather helmet era. We wore throwback uniforms inspired by the 1939 team for two games (vs UGA in '95 and Furman in '96) which had navy helmets with the orange X.
We will never wear purple for a NC or BCS game ... it isn't traditional Clemson ... plus it's ugly. Chrome helmets?!? We're better than that.

That's what I grew up hollering across DV...ORANGE(from South stands)...WHITE(from North stands)... Also the name of the spring game and the IPTAY newsletter...Actions speak louder than marketing

Purple uniforms are a bad omen (Ken Hatfield). Lets stick with the traditional orange and white. Solid orange would be great for the FSU game.
