Are you freaking kidding me?! Did you people learn nothing this year about the playoff committee?! A sucky ACC hurts us... it matters! It can hurt ranking, perception, and your chance of even making the playoff. You complain about lack of respect... a tougher ACC is part of getting that respect. I hope the ACC wins every bowl game.

this was the second rankings (week 10). They jumped 4 undefeated teams, from other conferences, but NOT Clemson. They even jumped OHIO STATE, the defending National Champ.
there's not much any team - or any conference - can do when dealing with The Bama Syndrome.
COLLEGE FOOTBALL PLAYOFF RANKINGS, NOV. 10 RANK TEAM RECORD 1 Clemson 9-0 2 Alabama 8-1 3 Ohio State 9-0 4 Notre Dame 8-1 5 Iowa 9-0 6 Baylor 8-0 7 Stanford 8-1 8 Oklahoma State 9-0

as long as SECPN is in charge of things. If the ACC had 4 undefeated teams, Bama would still be ahead of 3 of them with a loss (maybe even two).

I don't understand why we continue to debate about conference strength. The rankings are based upon opinion. When a conference is perceived stronger than another it is reflected in the rankings.

I disagree. I think Clemson , FSU , MIAMI , VT and to a lesser extent GT and UL are all teams that will get invites with undefeated or 1 loss seasons provided they win conference . It looksto me lile as an ACC team , you may have to win the conference championship and have no more than a single loss on the record to be a playoff team . I don't get too wrapped up in the media downtalking the league as a whole, we have had a representative in it every year now , so that kind of negates the whole " but your conference is weak " debate .
