It proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that the best college player was not being sought out for recognition. Don't even pay attention to it anymore.

are unhappy with their AD for the non-promotion of Manziel as well. But I agree, the Clemson AD handled the situation poorly.
Bottom line is if Dabo had hired a competent offensive coordinator we would have won more games and CJ would have probably gotten an invite. We lost too many games for him to have a real shot.

I used to feel that way, but RG3 renewed my faith in the process. It was the first time in recent memory that they picked someone from a 3 loss team, and they picked someone from a team who isn't in the national spotlight.
This year's ceremoney is shaping up to be sketch though. No clear #1 player in my opinion. Yeah Klein is good, but he isn't clearly the #1 player to me.
