They're always wanting to compare programs. The only thing I said was "since 2011, we've lost 12 football games. Y'all have lost 13 in a season and a half". Conversation stopped after that.

+1 Good response! I always tell them that, "if Clemson laid down and let y'all win for the next 25 years, y'all would be tied with us in the record. Ain't goin' to happen in my lifetime." That will shut them up too.

Exactly, and I'm not calling anybody stupid, but it is a stupid move by trying to have a conversation with a coot about anything that relates to sports!!! That is one subject that confuses the h&ll out of them!!! They know that a W in sports means Won, but they think that the L means a Lot, and they refuse to believe that the L represents anything else!!!

Do you keep an interpreter around since that is a foreign language for them to understand.
Most just nod and stutter when I talk to them and then go get on the short bus to go home.

We had one fewer win tan they did, but more conference championships and the same number of bowl wins.
Yes, we lost head to head, but what are the streak and overall head to head record now?
I think they have had 4 double digit win seasons in history.

You need to refuse to talk them while they are working. Customers will get mad when their orders are wrong.
