What's the story with the tiger atop the scoreboard ?

Sorry if Germans, but it looks a little out of place, outdated, faded... Has there ever been discussion of giving it some work/upgrade. Didn't the tail used to sway back and forth ?

That Old Tiger has been on every Clemson Scoreboard for decades!!! So when we upgrade we put the original tiger on the new scoreboard and we all hope he stays there!!! Many years ago before the
electronic scoreboards the eyes flashed and tail wagged on a score. Keep our TIGER!!!!!!

yes the tail did used to sway back and forth. the eyes lit up and it made a growling sound. But hell that was back in the 80s when i saw it last work.. lol

Wouldn't it be cool to re animate it so it does that again, I vaguely remember its tail moving when I was at a game a s a kid... Would it be ok to paint it ?

Can someone confirm that they have watched it during scores and it doesn't work? The last time I watched it after it was fixed it was working just fine. Normally you can't hear it and most don't look because of all the new festivities during scores but he keeps going.

top of the scoreboard. It now appears very small since the scoreboards increased in size.
Time to take it down and put it in the Tiger museum or west endzone.
Needs to be replaced with a super-duper animatronic tiger straight from the minds of the Disney Imagineers!!

Eyes were lit and tail wagged during Louisville game following scores...I assume it did yesterday, too, but I never looked to confirm.

I've seen the orange eyes and tail wag this season. Didn't look yesterday, but it was working against GState.
