Any wood workers out there?

I grabbed a very well taken care of Delta Unisaw with a Biesemeyer fence, miter sled, and all accessories for $500 straight cash off of C/L.
It was a smoking good deal.
Just wanted to brag for a second.

done for that kind of money. Sounds like you're just planning to continue working your own wood for the foreseeable future though.

million dollar place in Mount P. close to IOP. He owns a hot-rod shop and just bought a SawStop and wanted to get rid of this one.
Very nice guy. His daughter is going to Clemson next year. Even texted me later that night to make sure we made it home alright, due to the rain.
WAY better than my other CL experiences:
1. Getting free pigs from the meth-heads in Gaston.
2. Buying a commercial grade chain saw from a 15 year old girl for $50 in the Bilo parking lot in Cayce.... saw clearly stolen from daddy for drug money or something...

Could get a high quality table saw and build your own table around it. I've never really been a fan of Delta power tools.
I'll humble brag that I got a 14" porter cable band saw that was only used twice for $175 off CL a few months ago. I'm not really a fan of PC power tools but deal was too good to pass up.
Butt I am jealous. Lemme know when you want to sell
When the wife's grandpa passes on I'll be going up to VT with an 18 wheeler to haul back his stuff. He has a full blown sawmill up there.

Man gets the shaft on Vday, goes out and buys a hobby investment....
Doesn't matter if he doesn't know how to use the stuff or the hobby. He'll learn with all the free time the investment and hobby creates.

Recently he cut some wet wood with it and forgot to disable the safety system. When it went off, he said he nearly had a heart attack and shiit his pants.

FYI

Drilling, sawing, sanding or machining wood products generates wood dust, a substance known to the State of California to cause cancer. Avoid inhaling wood dust or use a dust mask or other safeguards for personal protection.
