Maybe this has been posted here before, but it's news to me... after 6 years of college and at the age of 25, former Georgia quarterback Stetson Bennett did not graduate with a degree.
This doesn't surprise me coming from UGA, but what the heck.

a game for Georgia until his 4th season and didn't become the unquestioned starter until his 5th season.
It's not like Bennett was a hot shot recruit that was expected to play in the NFL. This is a guy that should've been prioritizing getting a degree in the likelihood that his football career ended after graduating.
The guy is either a complete moron or a complete slacker.

That's pretty impressive. I did know a non-athlete at Clemson when I was there the was like 27 and the rest of us were 21 and he was working on year eight as an undergrad. He was a buddies roommate and spent most of his time playing video games and sleeping. That Was one expensive horticulture degree

That’s 11 semesters.
5.5 years doing the minimum.

That’s hard to do. To maintain eligibility, they have to be on track to graduate - in five years max.
Most schools just give you a general studies BS or BA after getting so many credit hours. My guess is he turned down the automatic degree for basket-weaving or whatever. Or maybe he was never eligible in 22.

Can you imagine the Hissy Fit that Dabo would have if anything near that happened at Clemson. He would have run off all the Academic Advisors involved with the player and then made the player buckle down or sit down....take your pick. Talk about UGA Culture vs. Clemson Culture......this sums it up for me!
